Title of presentation
Baščaršija (Turkish: Başçarşı) is the main street of Sarajevo, as well as being the cultural and historical center of the city and one of its landmarks. It is located in the old town part of Sarajevo, designed in the Ottoman-Turkish style. It has souvenir shops and public fountains, and contains a bazaar that sells metalwork, jewellery and pottery. Each street is dedicated to a craft. It was built in the 16th century.
